I've been working as a therapist, teacher & supervisor in tertiary hospitals, universities & private practice since 1990. As a therapist, I seek to offer an attuned holding space for people to connect with their own innate healing capacities, supporting them to recover from past hurts and traumas in a gentle, whole hearted and supportive environment. I love to see people rediscover skills they've lost sight of, create more affirming self narratives, and find more nourishing ways of being and connecting in their world. I believe that healing and flourishing emerge when our body and mind are tended to together, in caring connection with another. I am passionate about life long learning and healing, both for myself and my clients - yoga and therapy have been central pilars of my own self care over my adult life. My primary modalities these days are EMDR and attachment focused EMDR, DBR (Deep Brain Reorienting), and parts work, on a foundation of Compassion Focused Therapy and CBT.
