I am a clinical psychologist who strives to deliver therapy in a way that is genuine, warm and makes the client feel accepted and understood. In my work, I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) to help the people I support to live calmer, healthier and happier lives. Over my career, I have provided therapy to individuals presenting with a range of concerns, including, relationship difficulties, work stress, anxiety, depression, psychosis, and borderline personality disorder (BPD).
Working with neurodiverse adults is a particular area of interest for me. I create personalised strategies to manage intense emotions, and to lessen the negative effects of anxiety for Autistic people experiencing these difficulties. I also use an adapted form of CBT to address organisational skills and mood issues in adults with ADHD.
