Dr Dylan Gilbey (he/him) is a clinical psychologist and credentialled eating disorder clinician with a masters and PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Western Australia.
Dylan sees all ages 12 and up and people with all eating disorder diagnoses. He has a particular interest in working with people who are experiencing severe and enduring eating disorders and/or who have co-occurring complex trauma histories. He has a lot of experience working with concerns co-occurring with eating disorders such as depression, anxiety, suicidality, gender dysphoria, perfectionism, and emotion dysregulation. Dylan is able to do assessment and letters in support of gender-affirming care.
Dylan's approach is warm, patient, and genuine, and seeks to balance evidence-based practice with appropriate flexibility and meeting people where they are at in their recovery journey.
