Ms Sharyn Renshaw   MAPS

Telehealth available

Life can present many challenges and can sometimes bring exposure to unexpected events with profound impact and ongoing echoes. In my 30 years of practice as a psychologist I have held a passion for supporting individuals attempting to traverse life's difficulties with particular attention to those who have experienced trauma.

I am experienced working with individuals with PTSD including Emergency Service Personnel. I have worked extensively with individuals experiencing complex trauma emerging from childhood abuse, family violence and other distressing intrusive experiences. Supporting people with attachment issues, interpersonal difficulties, personality disorders, depression, anxiety and compulsions has been a natural extension of my work.

I offer trauma informed therapy underpinned by polyvagal theory, integrating psychodynamic and somatic approaches incorporating CBT, ACT, Schema therapy and DBT. I provide services privately, under Medicare, Worker's Compensation, CTP, Comcare.
