Rubina has been working in her private practice at Westmead for 14 years. She works with children, adolescents and their families and young adults.
Rubina has a special interest in childhood and adolescent anxiety including school refusal/separation anxiety; social anxiety; specific phobias; selective mutism and obsessive-compulsive disorder (O.C.D.). Rubina treats mood disorders including depression.
Children presenting with emotional regulation challenges, ADHD, learning problems, social skills challenges etc. are seen. Parenting advice is provided.
Psychometric testing is provided to determine a child's current cognitive functioning, to test for ADHD and learning difficulties.
