Organiser Banner

Overview

The APS hosts this webinar with the APS Positive Psychology Interest Group.

The aim of this webinar is to equip psychologists with knowledge and skills to support workers and workplaces within an approach promoting an integrated approach to workplace mental health. The content will draw on positive organisational scholarship principles, the integrated approach to workplace mental health (LaMontagne et al., 2014) and similar models (e.g. Parker & colleagues 'Thrive at Work'), and recent State & Territory regulations and codes of practice for managing psychosocial hazards at work, to provide a contemporary overview and examples within the current Australian workplace context.

Two applied case studies will centre the education sector/school workforce at the individual and organisation (school) level.
