Organiser Banner

Overview

The APS hosts this webinar with the APS Positive Psychology Interest Group.

This webinar looks at how wellbeing and high-quality motivation can be fostered in organisational settings (e.g., workplace, school, and sports contexts).

The aim is to equip attendees with a framework, language and skills through which to analyse different environments and identity ways to foster motivation and wellbeing in others. The content covers several mini-theories from self-determination theory using a language accessible to non-academic audiences with applied examples.

The experiential design of the workshop invites participants to reflect on the application of the theory to their own context and learn from their peers.

Research from the University of Melbourne will be shared.
