Overview

The APS hosts this activity with the Positive Psychology Interest Group (PPIG).

  • review current mindfulness evidence base,

  • highlight potential adverse effects and contraindications,

  • demonstrate two mindfulness exercises that can be used as positive psychology interventions,

  • cover the PERMA-H model of positive psychology, and

  • provide an opportunity to participants to experience two positive psychology-informed mindfulness activities that can be used with clients.
