Overview

Copyright is a form of intellectual property that protects the original expression of ideas. It enables creators to manage how their content is used. The copyright system treats different uses of content in different ways, with some requiring permission and some don't.

This webinar will provide an overview of the fundamentals of copyright including:

  • copyright law, 

  • copyright myths, 

  • open access, and

  • when copyright permission is required, and how to get it.

A Q&A will be held at the conclusion of the webinar.

Foundational. This activity is targeted to those new to the topic.

Duration of access
