Overview
The APS hosts this activity with the APS College of Organisational Psychologists.
The world of work is changing and whilst some organisations are constraining their teams by imposing rigid expectations around working together face-to-face back in an office environment, others have embraced the benefits of agility offered by virtual and hybrid teamworking.
This webinar offers an opportunity to further your understanding of how organisational psychology informs effective teamworking as well as how psychologists use research and evidence based practice to design and sustain effective high performing teams. This webinar was designed to be accessible to a wide range of audiences, including business leaders and HR professionals as well as early career and practitioner psychologists from across the profession of psychology.
Participants will gain an understanding of:
- evidence-based research & practice, strategies and tools to build team effectiveness,
- key considerations of team modality (e.g. remote, hybrid, office, satellite, global, local, regional),
- enabling team effectiveness and ensuring long-term success, and
- identification and management of warning signs that teams could be ‘in trouble’.
