Is my degree accredited by APAC?

If you are still unsure, APAC recommends that you first contact the APAC liaison officer at your university to obtain some clarity. If you are still unable to ascertain the status of your degree then contact APAC directly.

I am currently studying a combined PhD/Masters degree and have finished the course-work for my Masters but my thesis has not yet been marked. Can I still apply for the grade of Member?

The APS only recognises completed qualifications. Applications need to include a certified copy of the academic transcript which clearly states that the qualification has been completed or conferred.

However, if you hold general registration with Ahpra, you are eligible to join or upgrade to the grade of Member.

I have just finished my Masters but have not been awarded the degree. Can I apply for the grade of Member?

Possibly. You need to provide an official academic transcript which shows proof of completion or that you have met all the degree requirements. The APS only recognises completed qualifications.

You may wish to apply for the grade of Associate Member and then upgrade to Member once you obtain an official academic transcript from the university which states proof of completion.
