Psychologists push for greater sleep education ahead of parliamentary inquiry

How well did you sleep last night? Is the hot weather making you restless?

If so, you're not alone — according to a Deloitte Access Economics report, about 7.4 million Australians didn't get enough sleep in the 2016-2017 financial year.

The same report, which was prepared for the Sleep Health Foundation, found a lack of sleep kills more than 3000 people a year.

Later today in Perth, a parliamentary inquiry takes a look at the economic and social costs for the nation of Australians not getting enough sleep.
