Professional advice

The Professional Advisory Service (PAS) offers support and guidance to members to clarify professional and ethical issues including confidentiality, regulatory requirements, contracting and working with third party providers.

The PAS service is not an emergency or clinical service.  We thank you for your patience when our service is in high demand and can't immediately respond to your call. PAS is staffed by experienced psychologists who have skills and experience in a wide range of areas.

Contact PAS

The Professional Advisory Service is a live service.  Call our team directly on (03) 8662 3300, select 2 for member services and then 1 for the PAS team specifically.  Alternatively, you can contact via email, or request a call back by using the form below.

Providing some details about your professional or ethical issue, ensures that the PAS team can properly assess your query and a PAS team member with the appropriate experience can respond to you as soon as possible.  If requesting a return call from PAS, please note your blocks of availability over the next 2-3 business days to receive a call.  Our aim is to work within your schedule to ensure a prompt response to your enquiry.

You may find an answer to your query by searching in the Resource Finder or by viewing the information/resources below.

Legal advice

The PAS team are unable to provide legal advice of any kind, however, as an APS member you do have options.

Legal advice through your professional indemnity insurer

APS members who have professional indemnity insurance through Aon, can access legal advice via the legal helpline.  Other insurers offer similar services.

If you do not have access to legal advice via your insurer, the APS Legal Advice member benefit may be available to you.
