Overview
Following on from the successful webinar ran by the NSW Clinical College, Logan Harvey will present an updated talk on EMDR Therapy: Old Questions, New Research, and What’s Next in-person for South Australian Psychologists.
The presentation will be examining the evolution of EMDR, recent scientific findings, and future directions for practice and research.
This seminar is appropriate for non-EMDR practitioners who wish to learn about the therapy, as well as practicing EMDR psychologists who are interested in hearing about the latest research.
Join fellow SA psychologists for dinner, networking and a night of learning.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this event, participants should be able to:
- Develop an understanding of EMDR Therapy’s current status in treatment guidelines
- Understand key research into the mechanisms of EMDR Therapy
- Identify promising new research areas and their potential impact on clinical practice in EMDR.

About the presenter(s)
Logan is a Clinical Psychologist and EMDRAA Accredited Consultant & Trainer. Logan is an active clinician and researcher, with his clinical and research work focusing on the comorbidity between trauma-related disorders and addiction. He maintains a private practice where he provides treatment in these areas and also provides supervision to clinicians and organisations. Logan is actively involved in the EMDR community. He is a member of the EMDRAA Scientific Committee and the EMDRAA Accreditation and Standards Committee, as well as providing EMDR Basic Training workshops around Australia.
