From Principles to Practice: Navigating the 2025 Code of Conduct and Professional Competencies

Overview

The psychology profession in Australia is entering a significant period of change with the introduction of the new Code of Conduct and revised Professional Competencies in 2025.

This training is designed by psychologists, for psychologists to provide a clear, practical pathway for understanding and applying these changes in everyday practice.

 

Participants can choose to enrol in either:

Code of Conduct Training – A deep dive into the new Code, with practical case examples, reflection activities, and ethical decision-making tools.

Competencies Training – A structured course exploring the revised Competencies, with interactive activities and supervision tools to support professional growth.

Bundle Option – Complete both courses together for over 15 hours of CPD at a discounted rate.

Learning Outcomes

  1. Build confidence in applying the new Code of Conduct to clinical and organisational scenarios
  2. Strengthen professional practice through the revised Competencies
  3. Develop skills in reflexivity, ethical decision-making, and supervision planning
  4. Access practical tools, reflection journals, and case studies for ongoing use
