Overview

The APS hosts this webinar with the APS College of Clinical Psychologists.

This on-emand activity will provide insight into the latest guidelines in trauma treatment, and the models of evidence-based practice relevant to psychologists working in a wide range of contexts to formulate developmental and adult trauma. It s designed to equip psychologists with the tools to formulate their clients' presentations using theoretical models, while fostering evidence-based treatment planning. 

IMPORTANT: The content of this webinar does not train participants in any modality of treatment and cannot be used as a substitute for training in intervention.

Foundational. This activity is targeted to those new to the topic.

Duration of access

Access to the recording and presenter slides is for 12 months from the date of confirmed registration.

Dr. Hargun Ahluwalia

About the presenter(s)

Dr. Hargun Ahluwalia is a Senior Clinical Psychologist at Ward 17 at the Psychological Trauma Recovery Service, Austin Hospital. Here she works with Veterans and Emergency Services Personnel and has been involved in providing time - limited intensive trauma - focused treatment in this context. She also works at Innerwork Psychology, a private practice. A majority of her work in the past decade has been in the area of trauma, personality disorders and substance use disorders.
