Hong Kong psychologists will now have more opportunities to grow their skills and stay connected with the latest developments in psychology, thanks to a new partnership between the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the Hong Kong Psychological Society (HKPS)

This partnership gives HKPS members direct access to APS’s extensive education library, one of the most comprehensive collections of psychology professional development resources in the region, at APS member rates.

From webinars and workshops to clinical resources and cutting-edge research, HKPS members can now strengthen their knowledge and expand their practice with high-quality learning opportunities.

Supporting psychologists across borders

APS and HKPS share a strong commitment to helping psychologists thrive. Through this partnership, both organisations will strengthen the ties between the Australian and Hong Kong psychology communities and create more opportunities for professional development and collaboration.

APS members will also benefit from this collaboration through stronger international connections, opportunities to engage with Hong Kong psychologists, and the sharing of diverse perspectives and knowledge.

The partnership enriches APS’s ongoing efforts to advance psychology, and ensures our members are part of a globally connected profession.

This partnership reflects our shared belief that quality education helps psychologists make a bigger difference in their communities. We are delighted to welcome our colleagues from Hong Kong to access APS education and professional development. - APS CEO, Dr Zena Burgess

We are excited to partner with APS on this important initiative. Our members will benefit greatly from the new opportunities this collaboration provides, helping them keep pace with international best practices in psychology. - HKPS President, Dr Ephraem Tsui

What this means for HKPS members

HKPS members now have access to hundreds of APS professional development opportunities, including:

  • Practical webinars and workshops
  • Clinical and research resources
  • Continuing professional development (CPD) activities at APS member rates

This partnership marks the start of a closer relationship between APS and HKPS, with more shared opportunities planned in the future.
