Closes 4 June 2029
What is this project about?
Everyday mood patterns can reveal a lot about how people are feeling - especially during difficult times. Recent research shows that shifts in mood may help identify when someone is more vulnerable and may need extra support.
Who is eligible to participate?
We’re inviting adults 18+, whether you have recently experienced a suicidal crisis or not, to help us understand how mood patterns relate to wellbeing and suicide risk.
What does participation involve?
You will complete a 10–15 minute online survey which includes questions about:
• Your recent mood patterns
• Any suicidal thoughts or feelings
• Your sense of belonging, connection, and burdensomeness
• Your general life experiences
Participation is voluntary, and you may withdraw at any time during data collection without penalty or needing to provide a reason.
Ethics approval has been granted by UniSQ, project number ETH2026-0114
