What is this study about?
Australian mental health professionals are invited to participate in a research study exploring clinicians’ perspectives on the use of therapy dogs when working therapeutically with children.
The study aims to better understand the perceived benefits, challenges and considerations associated with incorporating therapy dogs into child therapy.
Your contribution will help build understanding of how therapy dogs are viewed and used within Australian child therapy practice, including factors that may influence clinicians’ decisions to use or not use a therapy dog.
This research is being conducted as part of a Psychology Honours research project at CQUniversity.
Who can participate?
Importantly, we are seeking perspectives from both clinicians who currently use a therapy dog in their practice and clinicians who do not use therapy dogs.
What does participation involve?
Participation involves completing an online survey about your professional experiences and perspectives.
