APS policy pool

Nominate and contribute to the APS' advocacy work

What is the APS policy pool?

The APS policy pool is a select group of APS members who have voluntarily nominated themselves to contribute to the advocacy work of the APS.

We value our members’ expertise and encourage you to share your skills across a range of varied topics and activities such as;

  • Contribute to the development of submissions, position statements and resources
  • Participate in expert reference groups on specific topics
  • Provide background, latest evidence, evaluations and literature reviews
  • Undertake peer review and editing activities
  • Participate in, or advise on, various consultation processes and advocacy efforts including government inquiries and consultations.

Please note the APS policy pool is intended to complement, not replace, our existing arrangements for engaging with APS members and member groups on policy matters.
