Dr David Goldman is a clinical and forensic psychologist and a psychoanalytic psychotherapist. His background includes trauma intervention and therapy provision within police departments and prison settings. He has also been clinical psychologist manager in private psychiatric hospitals.
David has been practising at Edgecliff for more than 25 years. His setting is private and aesthetic. The office is close to public transport and the CBD.
David has a special interest in treating performance anxiety, life adjustment issues, depression, PTSD and relationship conflict. He also offers mentorship to business executives and those in the legal and health professions.
Also a musician, David works closely with artists who seek the opportunity to work through their emotional difficulties.
His PhD research explored how the psychoanalytic space - conceptualised as a multimodal, sensory environment - can be enriched using elements of music, sound and architectural design.
