Blake takes a humanistic approach in his work, respecting each individual's dignity, agency, and experiences. He aims to foster a safe and productive therapeutic relationship, where your concerns can be heard, understood, and addressed.

Blake completed his studies in clinical psychology at the University of Melbourne. He is a clinical psychology registrar with experience working with clients across the lifespan, including those from diverse backgrounds, experiencing anxiety, panic attacks, trauma, depression, and obsessions and compulsions.

Blake has additional interests and experience in assisting adolescents, transitioning into parenthood, managing perfectionism and study stress, navigating career changes, coping with health challenges, and sports/performance anxiety.

Blake uses evidence-based therapeutic approaches CBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing. He also uses concepts from his ongoing studies in Lacanian Psychoanalysis to inform his therapeutic approach.
