Emily is a registered psychologist who provides individual assessment and intervention with children, adolescents, adults and families.
Emily aims to foster a collaborative, compassionate therapeutic environment through working from a trauma responsive, neuroaffirming and anti-oppressive perspective. Emily is trained in a range of evidence-based modalities including schema therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness based therapies, EMDR and family-based therapy and uses the approach best suited to the individual and their needs and goals. Emily has particular interest and experience across neurodivergence, eating differences and disorders, anxiety, perfectionism, appearance and body image concerns, trauma, pain management, adjustment, stress and substance use concerns.
