Emma is a warm, non-judgmental, and empathetic psychologist. She prioritises fostering a safe and strong therapeutic relationship as the basis for effective therapy, and adopts a collaborative and individualistic approach for each client. She aims to help clients understand their unique challenges and discover new ways of being that bring meaningful fulfilment to their lives. She has worked with clients experiencing eating disorders, anxiety and mood disorders, relationship difficulties, and childhood trauma. She has a particular interest in helping clients understand and shift long-standing, entrenched difficulties that may be affecting multiple areas of their lives.

She employs a variety of therapy models depending on the needs of her clients. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy, Somatic Therapy, mindfulness, and attachment-based approaches.
