You've probably gotten very good at holding it together. At being whoever the room needs you to be. At explaining yourself (your culture, your identity, your background) to people who were supposed to help, but left you doing all the work.
I understand that. Not just as a psychologist, but as someone who has lived it.
I'm a registered psychologist from a culturally diverse background who identifies as part of the LGBTQIASB+ community. I bring lived experience to my work with people navigating intersecting identities and the quiet exhaustion of not quite fitting anywhere.
My approach is warm, relational, and formulation-driven, drawing on CBT, ACT, DBT, and Schema-informed therapy, adapted to you.
If I sound like a good fit for you, I am available online (telehealth) on Tuesdays & Thursdays, 10:00am6:00pm.
Areas of focus: anxiety and low mood, identity and belonging, LGBTQIASB+ affirming care, cultural identity, trauma, neurodivergence (including ADHD), life transitions.
