Cheryl has been working as a Clinical Psychologist since 2005, after earning her Master of Clinical Psychology from the University of Adelaide. She has been in private practice since 2007, working with adults across all stages of life and handling a wide range of clinical issues.
Cheryl treats mood and anxiety disorders, as well as trauma-related conditions, including adult survivors of childhood abuse, domestic violence, and motor vehicle accidents. She employs various therapeutic approaches like Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Self-Compassion Therapy.
Beyond therapy, Cheryl is also a Psychology Board Approved supervisor, offering supervision for registered psychologists seeking endorsement, general and clinical psychologists, and other mental health professionals.
