I work with adults (18+) and engage an integrative approach to suit the individual's needs. Since graduating as a mature-aged student from Monash University and University of Melbourne, my on-going professional training is in interpersonal and psychodynamic psychotherapies (short and long-term). I also draw from my training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
My psychology experience includes working in private hospital as an in-patient group therapist, in residential aged care and community-based public mental health. I also provide input to a telephone peer support service for health professionals. I have a particular interest in working with people adjusting to health conditions, carer roles (physical/mental health carers), and retirement/mid-late stages of life, from an interpersonal perspective.
