Liesel has a special interest in working with adults seeking support for PTSD, complex trauma, interpersonal difficulties, birth trauma, perinatal anxiety and depression, chronic health conditions, grief and loss. Many of these difficulties arise from early attachment and relationship difficulties and continue to have a significant impact on social functioning, identity and sense of self worth.
All therapeutic approaches used are attachment informed and neuro-affirming. Main modalities for therapy are Eye Movement and Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), schema therapy, CBT, and Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT).
