Gilbert is a psychologist with a unique background in anthropology, bringing culturally informed, trauma-sensitive care to diverse clients across the lifespan (1470+) including refugees, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent individuals, and culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities. He also supports caregivers and patients managing chronic illnesses such as Parkinson's disease, stroke, and diabetes.

Gilbert's practice, rooted in Positive Psychology, empowers clients by recognising intersectionalityhow culture, identity, gender, sexuality, ability, and lived experiences intersect to shape identities. This approach fosters resilience and growth by focusing on each client's unique strengths and coping strategies.

Trained in evidence-based therapies, Gilbert tailors interventions to respect diverse cultural contexts and creates affirming spaces for identity exploration. His commitment to ongoing professional development ensures that his practice remains informed by best practices.
