Saurenne is a clinical psychologist with a warm and authentic approach which puts people at ease. She knows how important it is to feel safe and connected in therapy and works collaboratively with her clients to create meaningful change.
Saurenne works with adults and late teens and has significant experience treating anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, challenges with identity, life changes, grief, boundaries and assertiveness, and relationship difficulties. She�s also worked in a hospital setting treating complex trauma and personality disorders.
Some of the therapies she uses are:
cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT);
acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT);
dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT);
schema therapy;
eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR); and
internal family systems (IFS).
Prior to becoming a psychologist, Saurenne worked at a naturopath for 10 years which gives her a unique insight into how our mind and emotions affect our overall wellbeing.
