Sophie is a Clinical Psychologist who uses a collaborative approach and understands the importance of creating a trusting therapeutic relationship.
Sophie has worked in crisis public mental health settings as well as private practice. Sophie accepts referrals for clients 18 years and over. She is registered to provide services under Medicare and is accredited to deliver non-directive pregnancy support counselling. Sophie has completed additional training in perinatal psychology, birth trauma and EMDR.
Sophie values a holistic approach to wellbeing. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy but she utilises a variety of approaches informed by compassion-focused therapies, psycho-dynamic models and elements of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.
