I offer treatment for depression, anxiety, paraphilias, and problematic internet pornography use. I offer treatment for psychological difficulties associated with criminal behaviour. I also provide reports regarding suitability for employment, and legal reports regarding criminal behaviour and risk assessment, particularly with regard to sexual behaviour. I offer awareness of and sensitivity towards religious backgrounds. I work primarily within cognitive behavioural and interpersonal therapy frameworks. I have been an APS member since 1990 and am endorsed in clinical and forensic psychology. I have worked as a psychologist and manager in forensic mental health services, and as an academic for many years. I am the director of Turas Psychology and Consulting, which provides direct clinical treatment, legal and employment suitability reports, and other consultation. My academic qualifications include a Master of Psychology in clinical psychology and a Doctor of Philosophy degree.
