I�m dedicated to maintaining evidence-based practice, including promoting weight and body neutral principles. I�ve worked closely with individuals, families and the wider community in many capacities, and recognise the complex tapestry underlying an individual�s goals, health and development.
I primarily work from an Acceptance Commitment Therapy and Schema Therapy basis, focused on helping individuals to participate in, and work with, their unique experiences. I also utilise Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solutions Focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. Above all, the most important part of my work is creating a safe, neutral, supportive environment in which individuals can progress.
Outside of work you'll find me turning some part of the house into a DIY, crocheting and always creating the next project. I love finding a new board game or podcast, and I�m a big ol' pilates and bouldering nerd.
