Melissa is a Clinical Psychologist who helps people navigate anxiety, OCD and intrusive thoughts, body image and eating concerns, and other mental health challenges including during pregnancy/postpartum and emerging adulthood (16-25).
With a PhD focused on OCD during pregnancy and postpartum, she's worked across community, public, and private settings. Melissa also works with persistent pain, health-related anxiety, tics, and body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs) like hair-pulling and skin-picking disorders.
Her approach is supportive, collaborative, and down-to-earth, drawing from evidence-based therapies like CBT, Metacognitive Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy to help clients create real, lasting changes.
As a Board Approved Supervisor, Melissa also enjoys supporting other therapists working in these areas.
