Jesse has several years of experience across public mental health settings and private practice. He also works in a teaching capacity at Victoria University, across Bachelors and Masters level psychology and counselling subjects.
Acknowledging the complexity of desiring change and not knowing where to start, Jesse prioritises the development of a strong therapeutic relationship. He builds trust by maintaining a person-centred, empathetic, and non-judgmental therapeutic style.
Informed by ISTDP principles, Jesse adopts a psychodynamic approach to facilitate an in-depth exploration of emotional struggles, fostering insight and resolution of internal conflicts, and promoting personal growth and psychological well-being. He focuses on understanding the whole person, not just their symptoms, to create lasting change and healing.
