I take a friendly, curious, and relaxed approach to treatment, helping patients feel at ease as we work together. My goal is to help patients process unconscious emotions and conflicts, and early-life experiences while identifying patterns of thought and behaviour that contribute to their ongoing psychological suffering. I have a special interest in assisting patients with anxiety, depression, and relationships.
My diverse background includes careers as an engineer, musician, and teacher, as well as experience as a published researcher and author, all of which enrich my therapeutic approach.
I hold a Master of Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) and am completing my PhD, focusing on anxiety and substance use. My clinical training spans Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy, Emotionally Focussed Therapy (EFT), Schema Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
