Tara is a compassionate psychologist with broad experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds, including the Aboriginal community and people with disabilities. She is especially dedicated to helping those affected by trauma, including PTSD, complex trauma, and developmental trauma.
Tara uses a collaborative, client-centred approach, empowering clients to overcome challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, parenting challenges, and child and adolescent-specific concerns. Tara uses evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), tailoring her interventions to meet each client�s unique needs.
