I am a clinical psychologist working in private practice. I provide both short and long-term therapy to individuals using telehealth.
My work prioritises warmth and compassion and I aim to foster a genuine human connection with my clients. I work collaboratively, so both the goals of therapy and the way in which therapy occurs is agreed upon. I utilise multiple therapeutic modalities, adapting how I work to the person I am working with. I keep up-to date with the most effective practices to facilitate growth and healing. I respect individual uniqueness and am sensitive to people of all backgrounds, genders and cultures. I have worked in private practice, community mental health and university counselling settings.
I am a long-term practitioner of meditation and this informs how I work. I am currently undertaking a mindfulness teacher training. I also take inspiration in the natural world having worked as a wilderness guide for many years in my early twenties.
