Dr Shelley Obst is a clinical psychologist who has an interest and experience working with children, adolescents, adults and older adults with OCD, depression, anxiety, agoraphobia and other phobias, panic disorders and grief and loss. Shelley also enjoys working within the perinatal field including antenatal and postnatal depression and anxiety, OCD, fertility issues and working with attachment and the parent-infant relationship.
Shelley has worked in private psychiatric facilities, public mental health settings and private practice. She has a strong commitment to building collaborative and respectful client relationships, grounded in honesty and warmth.
Shelley's approach includes using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema therapy, mindfulness and solution-focused therapy.
