Rebecca is a registered Clinical Psychologist. For the past twenty years, she has fulfilled various roles within public welfare and health settings, perinatal services, and in private psychotherapy practice. Throughout that time, she has supported individuals with various interpersonal, emotional and psychological difficulties.
Rebecca's style of therapy is based upon Psychodynamic principles, which emphasise the value of assisting individuals to express experiences, thoughts and feelings through words.
Psychodynamic psychotherapy goes beyond looking at behaviour and providing strategies. Rather, it can lead patients to understanding the origins of their distress, as well as recognising their own unhelpful patterns of behaviour, which are often influenced by early experiences.
