Emily is a psychologist with a doctoral degree in clinical and forensic psychology. Her professional interests include anxiety and depressive disorders, OCD, trauma, substance misuse, sleep difficulties, relationship issues, and problematic sexual behaviours.

Emily's therapeutic approach is primarily person-centred, creating a non-judgemental therapeutic space where individuals can feel empowered to make change. She uses evidence-based practice tailored to the needs of each individual client. She utilises multiple therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) and schema therapy, with elements of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), internal family systems therapy (IFS), and attachment-based therapy (ABT). She is also trained in eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.
