Libby (Elisabeth) Tooth is a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA). She has completed Perinatal Mental Health specific training through the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE) and the Selini Institute.
Libby has a person centred approach and is trained in and uses a combination of approaches, including: �top down� / cognitive techniques such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT); and �bottom-up� or body based/somatic techniques including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Hakomi Somatic Mindfulness, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT/Tapping) and Creative and Expressive Therapies.
Libby is skilled in current evidence-based therapies and has a strength based, holistic, person-centred approach, that is underpinned by an understanding of developmental neurobiology and our nervous system, along with attachment and trauma informed care.
