Deanne is a warm and engaging psychologist. She works collaboratively with people to help them find better ways of being in, and engaging with the world. She is relationally focused and helps people build a better relationship with their self, with others (family, friends, and colleagues), as well as how they see themselves in the world. Deanne had a previous career as an architect, and has worked in the corporate sector, and brings a wealth of experience to her understanding of workplace dynamics, stress, and burnout. She has lectured and tutored in architecture and design, and tutored in psychology. She enjoys working with people to help them understand themselves and move forward in their lives. She enjoys yoga and meditation as self-care practices. She follows the research on mindfulness-based practices and therapies closely, and can incorporate them into therapy if appropriate.
