Marie is a clinical psychologist and relational psychotherapist who works with people from adolescence to older adults across a range of clinical and non-clinical health issues. Marie works as an integrative psychotherapist and draws upon a teaching and coaching (Jungian & solutions-focused therapies) background that enhances the wide range of treatment options they provide. Marie is passionate about working with single event (PTSD) or complex trauma and associated personality and dissociative difficulties. Marie adopts an integrative neurobiological informed approach to treatment, utilising techniques from contemporary psychodynamic theories such as mentalisation-based therapy, internal family systems, conversational model, attachment and structural dissociation models. These therapeutic approaches involve working more in depth to understand the origins of emotional pain and problematic relational patterns. Marie also integrates ACT and mindfulness (expressive)techniques in therapy.
