Soph is passionate about helping people build rich meaningful lives. With warmth and authenticity, Soph supports clients to develop insight and learn skills to manage the difficult thoughts, feelings, memories and other experiences that come with being human. Soph uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you build psychological flexibility so that you can take meaningful action, even in the presence of unwanted or painful experiences. Soph combines ACT with Schema Therapy and compassion-based approaches. Soph has special interest in working with clients experiencing all types of anxiety, mood problems, obsessions and compulsions, psychosis, trauma, and perinatal issues. She also supports people to navigate issues around death - including grief, death anxiety, and existential issues -and issues concerning the psychological aspects of money and finances. Soph works across public and private sectors. She is a proud supporter of the LGBTQIA+ community.
