I am a Clinical Psychologist, having completed a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours), and a Masters of Psychology (Clinical). I work in a Medical practice, but previously worked with the Local Health District for over 10 years. In that time, I worked in Medical Rehabilitation wards, MH Inpatient Units, and community-based teams.
My therapeutic goal is always to develop a persons insight into their Mental Health challenges, to reduce symptom distress, and to develop more effective coping strategies. My therapy approach is guided by Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.
I have helped people who are in crisis, and those who are enduring chronic, complex symptoms. I am very experienced in helping adults with depression, bipolar, anxiety, phobias, OCD, PTSD, ADHD, anger, grief, adjustment issues, emotional dysregulation, trauma, psychosis, eating disorders, and personality disorders.
