Deborah is an experienced Clinical Psychologist and Board Approved Supervisor who practices from a Compassion Focussed Therapy framework. This allows her to incorporate a relational lens to therapy including evidence informed interventions based in neuroscience and attachment theory. You psychology sessions will begin with a thorough assessment, collaboration over a shared understanding of the problems you are experiencing, and using evidence informed strategies and approaches that incorporate mindfulness, imagery, cognitive interventions, and experiential work with the safety and strength of compassion.
Deborah has experience working with clients with eating disorders including long standing anorexia, and believes there are more similarities than differences across the diagnostic spectrum. Deborah also works with clients experiencing grief, depression, anxiety, and attachment difficulties. Her approach is oriented towards warmth, honest reflection, and helpful action.
