Giselle is a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, a member of the Australian Psychological Society, member of AAPI and has over 10 years of experience working with people with disabilities. The University of Western Sydney awarded her a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) in 2008 and a Postgraduate Diploma of Psychology in 2009. In addition, she is a Board Approved Supervisor for Provisional Psychologists with AHPRA. Furthermore, Giselle is a CPI Safety Intervention Instructor and a CPI Dementia Capable Care Instructor certified by CPI.
Giselle has worked with numerous complex clients with various diagnoses, such as Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Intellectual Disabilities, Trauma, Mental Health and Psychiatric Disorders. Due to her experience with complex trauma, self-injurious behavior, communicative difficulties, aggressive behavior, and contact with the criminal justice system, Giselle is interested in challenging behaviors.
