Laura works with general mental health issues, life-related stresses, trauma-related issues and also provides treatment for eating disorders and body-image related concerns, and is also an ANZAED accredited eating disorders practiioner. She has a collaborative, strength-based therapeutic style with a focus on good listening, shared reflection and growing clarity and skills. She welcomes clients from different cultural backgrounds and diverse experiences. Laura works with adults, adolescents as well as some children in her practice. She mostly sees children coming for psychosocial issues, anxiety, low mood and shyness, and also sees both adults and young people identifying as LGBTQIA+. In work with children, she works from a developmental context and uses play and talking therapy in combination with work with parents.
