I am a clinical psychologist and advanced certified schema therapist. I have extensive experience as a clinician in counselling, psychiatric and private practice settings. I have a collaborative, flexible and client-centred style that aims to empower, and prioritises the dignity of the individuals with whom I work. My practice is trauma-informed and culturally responsive.
My areas of interest include complex trauma, issues related to grief and loss, depression, anxiety and the adjustment to challenging life circumstances. My approach is primarily informed by schema therapy and attachment theory, integrating aspects of other evidence-based modalities. These include cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), as well as dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT).
I am a member of the Australian Psychological Society and the International Society of Schema Therapy. I work with adults from the age of 20 years.
